National Super League weekend matches postponed at the weekend due to the high political temperatures will now be played Wednesday.

Log leaders Ushuru will be seeking to extend their lead when they take on FC Talanta at Camp Toyoyo in Jericho, Nairobi. The former top-tier team leads the standings with 69 points from 31 matches, two better than second-placed Kenya Commercial Bank who face Administration Police at Camp Toyoyo from 1pm.

The police side has hired Benlee Juma to replace Samson Gitau as coach to help the team avoid relegation and are 17th on the log with 27 points from 31 matches.

At Moi Stadium, Kisumu, third-placed Vihiga United face Palos, while Wazito FC take on GFE 105 at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret.

Former KPL side, Nairobi City Stars, take on visiting Bidco United at Hope Centre. Bidco coach, Anthony Akhulia, says his boys will be “out to pick three points away” as they look to move up the log to increase their chances of finishing the league in a respectable position.

Kibera Black Stars face Nairobi Stima at the same venue.

Agro Chemicals host Modern Coast Rangers at Muhoroni grounds as Nakuru All Stars invite St Joseph’s Youth at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.

The match between Kenya Police and Isibania in Naivasha has been postponed on Police’s request.
